Nepean Aquatic Centre Swim Club held its annual Long Course Age Championships on a beautiful, sunny Sunday in March.
Our athletes gave it their all in various races across the day. It was the perfect end to a fantastic season held at Glenbrook Pool.
The best part of the day was having families and swimmers gather together, and despite the high stakes for an Age Champion trophy and title, the comraderie from everyone is what made the day a huge success.
Well done to all who participated and to all who volunteered to make the meet one to remember.
This meet was the last one for a few of our amazing committee members. Special thanks goes to Lisa and Brad Dewberry (our outgoing Club Race Secretaries), and Lydia Debrincat (outgoing President) who was on pool deck helping out despite being jetlagged and unwell. We appreciate the effort you all went to in order to give our athletes a race day to wrap the season up!
